The Charlotte100 is a curated list of the best restaurants in Charlotte, North Carolina. Chosen entirely by local food enthusiasts like you. Here's how our process works:

1. Registration: Sign up for an account to become an eligible voter and have a say on The Charlotte100
2. Election Period: Each month, a new election opens for voting and you must vote before the end of the election period.
3. Ballot Submission: During the election, submit your ballot with your top 10 restaurant picks and a 'Honorable Mention' of a new or unlisted restaurant
4. Ranking System: Vote for your top ten, and your first choice gets 10 points, second gets one less point, and so on down to your tenth choice.
5. Weighted Voting: Once you vote we mutiply your vote by a weighted value, giving us the final rank of your top 10.
6. Influence and Boost: Increase your vote weight (boost) by voting consistently, submitting new restaurants or correcting any mistakes you find.
7. Verified Charlotteans: Not just anyone gets a say, we automtically boost your vote weight if you're a local by confirming your Greater Charlotte area address (coming soon!)
8. Real Local opinions: Verified Charlotteans influence the vote the most, making The Charlotte100 the official voice of Charlotte's favorite restaurants
9. Vote Tallying: At the end of each election, all votes are tallied and we send you the results!
10. A New Resource: Use the Official Charlotte100 as a resource for finding new, exciting, and highly rated places to eat. Especially on those indecisive days
11. Results: The restaurants with the most points that month make it to the Charlotte100 list, and into the history books. We save every months results and keep it for posterity
